We have made a firm decision to never drink again
for we admit deep inside
it has brought to us and family much harm.
We are grateful that we still have many who love and care for us
this is something that we never again wish to take for granted.
With much work and the help of our Higher Power
we will succeed this time around.
I too returned to run with the liquid devil too many times.
I realize that this may be my last go round with a sober life.
I want to be sober when I meet my maker.
This is also my wish for you dear Lady.
