Mera, get an axe handle and go after the putz! I'm serious, don't let this dolt mess with your life. If the axe handle is a lawyer, use it. If it's a real axe handle, target his headlights. FIGHT BACK. Recovery doesn't mean surrender.

No one can make us drink- no one is that powerful. Stay sober and fight your fight. Remember, if you drink, it has nothing to do with the situation. It only has to do with you.

You have come so far in this one short week- so think how far along you could be in one more. By drinking (which is how I'm understanding your "I'm desperate") YOU then become the problem, not the solution.

Sorry to hear of your hard times, but picking up a drink will only make them harder. You have been glorious through the worst of this- keep it up.
