Can you give me an example? It haunts me, I think I'm using it correctly; sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't.
^^^was that correct? Or was that more of a comma situation?

Ah, very good, that makes sense to me- so it is always a verb, that will stick in my head.
I should know this, but I dropped out of school early and got into uni as a mature student at 27, so I missed a lot.

Well, I did give you an example.

And you used it correctly above.

Yes, it is pretty big on outdoor adventure.

Used to be one of my favourite shows. Incredible accuracy. Indisputable, I would have thought, but we need cynics in the world.

That was funny, I read Venecia's post first and thought she was correcting your grammar without being asked. I thought it was kind of adorable :-) Anyhoo....

Frank has disappeared; hopefully, he will get some sleep. It will have a good effect on him.

I often get chatty at this time of night. Best I head to the land of nod, too.

Take care, all. Stay sober.

Wow! That was a lot to catch up since last night and I really need to go to bed ! How'd ya like that run on sentence ! Venecia (sp?) is prolly squirming!!!

I got so many laughs I don't know where to begin! And I've prolly forgotten half of them already !

Hmmm... I'm blonde and yes blondes do have more fun (at least in my younger, unmarried days!).

I am a Catholic. I also attend non-denominational churches and love them too.

I struggle with where to put the punctuation... Inside or outside of the parenthesis (or both!).

I also love to fish and feel that tug! Our farm backs up to the Missouri River (with cabin), our lake house is right on the water, and I love the ocean. Big fan of water, not necessarily swimming in it tho V, last sentence comma or semi-colon... Comma correct?!!!!

Hi Jen! I replied something to you before and it was like an alphabet toss up! Glad u gave us Jen!

dwtbd -another alphabet toss! U had some good stuff, just brain freeze here! Same with other good, funny stuff by others!

Feel uneducated after reading thru here even tho I have a college degree! Oh well, too bad for me. Educate me please !

Frank, good dry humor. Stay on that Cymbalta !

Stay sober. Lots of great posts but way past bed time!

Pumpkin butter, apple butter, cinnamon apple butter, candy apple butter, sweet potato butter, cinnamon apple jelly, and apple cider jelly! These are some of my jars at our farm! Bring on Fall! Love it! And Good and Evil Pickles with Garlic! Yummy! Hands down we have the best jams!

Thanks for the laughs! Good night!

Olivia

Wow! busy here or what?

Jen - I Googled Banff, the vista's were so impressive I thought they might be CGI. I live in Shoreditch, London which is just urban dystopia. Incidentally, a semi colon, that's anot her way of saying half-assed isn't it?

I've not read many classics so can't join in much on that score though I have read Catch 22.

We "did" Thomas Hardy at school - torture
