Hello lingering Sober Enders!

My errands are done and shall putter away the rest of this day off of work.
I went to the thrift store in search of a backpack. Next weekend I am traveling up the to islands to hang with my parents. I am taking the seaplane!!! Of this I am both terrible excited and terrifically petrified.
No decent backpack to be had, but I did pick up some dog bowls and blankets, and then stopped by the grocery to stock up on coconut water.

Alright, off to putter!

Gee, I have several backpacks. . .wanna borrow one?

I live near the Kenmore air harbor...are you leaving from there or from Lake Union?

I went to Value Village yesterday, they're getting pretty spendy lately.

Thanks!
I actually have a perfectly good backpack, that I purchased years ago for $5. I just am not a fan of the color (camouflage ) and thought I would treat myself to something newish.

Yes, I was at VV, they wanted $17 for the backpack I was looking at. Too much.
Leaving from Lake Union. Handy as it is right near the dog hotel.
I am so looking forward to this mini trip! I love the islands!

I just assume the seaplanes are scary, SP, as I am not a fan of regular planes. Or heights for that matter.

Thrift shopping. Penguins and puffins. All good things.

Sao, I heard that the London underground drivers have called a strike. I hope that you have alternate transportation. What a headache!

I'm so tired that I just want to crawl into bed but can't do that. napping at my desk isn't a good thing. Maybe coffee will help.

I walked thank you Ruby, if the weather is good I do that sometimes strike or not. I have just watched Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon. It captures a bit of the flavour of Chicago

I could have loaned you a backpack. I only have seven. Real backpacks, not bookbags.

Puffins are nice. A good butter-garlic sauce makes them tasty.

Nite, K.

Only one spectacular aerial attack today from the Osprey. Still pretty cool. He missed the first fish and had to go around - then looked for ten seconds, pulled up into a hover, wheeled over on to one wing, pulled his wings into a delta, and plunged headfirst into the water. It amazes me that they can ever catch a fish, let alone make a living at it.

wow. pretty amazing photo...(yes, it's huge.) Here's the direct link:
