I'm sorry to hear about your struggles! I've been there and recently! It's truly hell. I hate alcohol!
One thing that has been helping me dig my way out of this nightmare is a "plan" for recovery & abstinence...permanent abstinence! It gives me hope! Do you have a plan?

Do you 100% feel that your drinking brought you here? If so, maybe you can take a long break and do some personal clean-up? It will be hard but it comes with rewards.....nothing like quitting bring drama on to oneself! Even 30 60 or 90 days will give some clarity to where an action plan can be brought to life..Let me know. Thanks for sharing
I'm sorry that you have lost your boyfriend and your job. Is this the wakeup call that you need? I hope so. You don't have to sink lower. We do understand how hard this is. Do you have a plan in place for stopping drinking? We're here to offer support.
Welcome to SR, gasstationsushi.
I am sorry about your boyfriend and about your job. You can make this your bottom and start to dig your way out of alcoholism now.
Read around the forum; there is a wealth of information on alcoholism and methods, techniques and programs to utilize to achieve and maintain sobriety.

My heart goes out to you. We have all been where you are. Some better some worse. Your situation is bad but it will get worse As long as you continue your relationship with alcohol. .
The good news is we can get off the roller-coaster to hell anytime we choose. When I bottomed out I saw a doctor and was referred to IOP and then became active in AA. A few 24 hours later I like my life and who I am.
Just stay sober today and seek external help. It can be done as many here can attest. You can do this because you have to do this

I really relate to your post gss, but you haven't lost it all...you're not in jail and you're still alive.
I say that because if you don't make the choice to stop drinking, there's still a lot more to lose.
And I for one dont want to see you lose anything else to booze!
I really hope you'll make the choice to quit drinking so you can live the life you were meant to live.
