Here in the UK, tonight is known as Black Friday. Last Friday before Christmas, everyone hits the pubs and the clubs and the emergency services hike up the staff on duty in the hospitals and police on the streets ... And that's just for the 'normal' drinkers!

I'm around 2 months sober, just in from the AA meeting that I go to every Friday night, tucked up in bed with my book and a nice cup of tea. Looking forward to seeing my sponsor tomorrow then spending time with my family. I just wanted to express my gratitude for sobriety, other alcoholics in recovery like yourselves, and hope you all have a safe and sober weekend.

Hi Try...and how will these drinkers feel tomorrow!!!! This is how I talk to myself when the craving monster comes around...We are Sober and it is wonderful. Merry Xmas to you from OZ!!!
