staying in touch!
I say yes to that! I know about the sweating, fatigue, insomnia, etc. After many years of being "in and out" of sobriety, I now realize that I did not (and didn't want to) believe that this is a chronic illness. I lost my job, my home and myself respect.
I know today that life is still possible. Have a be kind to yourself day!

The sweating will eventually end; it is your body's way of getting rid of all of the toxins that alcohol has been putting in to your system. Stay hydrated with water. I agree with beach20, be kind to yourself today and stay close to SR to let us know how you are doing and how we can support you
Hey not2late,
Big hugs to you, first of all.
I am 37, so almost 20 years younger than you, and I'm wondering how much longer I can get away with the drinking lifestyle.....I have started to worry that I won't see 40, much the same way as you feel you may not see 60 if you carry on.
What a shocking, dreadful state of affairs for both of us. My friend recently had a relative die at 30, who had no addiction problems and died from something completely out of her control. It was so sad. It shocked me, but obviously not enough given that I'm sitting here drinking just now.....but I know things need to change, big time.
If nothing else, I'm in your corner and I know how you feel. X
