For years it was a bottle and a half of red wine a night. Then two and two shots of vodka to get started. By the end, for about 8 weeks 5 to 6 bottles of wine around the clock, plus vodka.

not as much as some of you guys, average about 8-10 tall cans per night during the week, weekends more like 14 cans. now hopefully by the end around 15 cans per day during the week, sometimes there would be one or 2 left in the morning, that was a great morning for curing the shakes.

I would always buy my set amount, to "cap it" (as long as it put me to sleep blacked out, otherwise I'd be down at the bar to finish the job). But the next day I'd be doing the white knuckle anxiety ridden car ride back to the store to buy more.

Weekends I'd buy more but I'd just end up drinking whatever was left over when I woke back up at 3am, no matter the amount it would be gone the next day, back into the car....

They don;t call it the merry go round of hell for nothing!

The last year of my drinking I was drinking 3 40s of steel reserve. But I always bought 4 of them. And if I get into the forth one that night I usually end up finishing it the next morning and Bam it's off to a few days of drinking. Even if I'm at work. Dont miss at all. This thread help me remember what booze can do to you. Been sober since 2/28/18

Before my first Treatment in 2014, it would have been probably 8-12+ cans/pints 4 days a week every week for a few years. Then the following years, it was a bad 4-7 day binge (10 cans/pints +per day) every few months until this Summer when I got sober again.

.5-.75 liter of vodka every night, this is 12-14 standard drinks. Five pm to pass out, seven nights a week, 365 days a year. Hungover every day. Regular blackouts.

I lost count of the number of drinks; more like two bottles of wine a night, or one large bottle.....then I started picking up boxed wine "just to make sure there was enough"

On a typical night, half a pint of vodka and 3 beers. On the weekends, more.

Then I started needing a beer or two in the morning to ease the hangover and shakes. It was agony to drink everything the night before without saving a little to start my day.

I think I was at a fifth of vodka/day, average. I resorted to buying plastic handles. For three day weekends, I'd buy two handles on Friday, just in case.

The money I spent in a year's time was enough to make me gag. I was literally stealing from the family to support my drinking.
