thanks for sharing

Hey folks,

I'm new to this forum, the wife of an alcoholic. I've been reading a lot of the posts and I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy your comments and insights. I'm not big on the god thing and am grateful for the secular section on this site.

I find the conversations here very helpful, especially Doorknob's! For everything that you are struggling with, I wish you all the best. Just by being here, and sharing your day to day stuff, you are helping people.

Thought I would let you know and maybe it would help with your recovery.

Take care of yourself.

Thank you hope!

and what is possible for us is possible for anyone. There are many paths to sobriety and happiness. The secular threads have been very helpful to me as well as a recovering alchoholic/drug addict. The most important thing in my life today is that I have hope that my life can get better!

Thank you very much. It means a lot to me that we are able to touch those who are in need -- which includes you. As a spouse of an alcoholic you are always welcome here as well.

Welcome.
