Hi Sunshine and welcome.

Your husband is going through a rough time trying to learn how to live his life without using drugs. People use drugs for a lot of different reasons, to escape problems, to feel better about themselves, etc, and when they stop, they're forced to deal with the reasons they started using in the first place. He may not be the same as he was before, but hopefully in recovery he will come out a much healthier person.

Early recovery is hard for everyone. The trust will come but it will take time. Have you tried nar-anon? Going to meetings are helpful b/c it's good to have support from people who've been where you are.

I'm glad you found us and I hope you keep coming back. Also, check out the nar-anon forum while you're here.

Take care,
JG

12 step programs are a good thing. i dont know if relationships can last without trust passion or commitment. you must look after you and your baby firstly.
