Exes

I have been divorced from my ex for many years, we are both alchoholics, I have been sober for a few months now and she is in the same meetings as me. My feelings towards her have come back and i cant stop thinking about her. Our divorce was not a messy one. My question is is there a chance for us or should i drop these thaughts?

Do you have a sponsor? If not get one!! Talk to him about the situation. Who knows what could happen....but for now "seek the kingdom first"....so to speak!

Good Luck and Congrats on your sobriety!

Well, they say wait a year before making any relationship changes. I agree that talking to your sponsor is a good idea. There's always a chance things could work out but your recovery should come first. Whatever you do, take it slow.

Yeah....Feelings.

My feelings were all over the place for the first year.

Sponsor = Good answer.

You might have to wait this one out a bit. Work hard on your program, then see how you feel. No need rushing. You have your whole life!!!

Blessings
