My ex-husband took my girls because of alcoholism - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Very sad day for me. After many years of a verbally/emotionally abusive marriage I got out of the house with my four kids for whom I got 50 custody and full placement. For two and a half years after the divorce he was still abusing me with ugly phone calls, threats, and withholding money just to hurt me. In January for what ever reason his abuse increased even more and I ended up drinking. I have not seen my kids hardly at all since then and now they seem happy with this. I am heart broken and sad as I stayed home with my kids and never really spend a day without them!
If anyone has advice it would be appreciated!

I'm sorry you are hurting and haven't seen your kids. The best advice I could give you is to quit drinking. Do you have a plan of action?
