from time to time i'll get these little twitches in my legs and alot in my eye lids .like small spasms Is this a result of having used alcohol all these years ??

I've had eye spasms my whole life - even as a child and those ones were related to nerves but if you are currently detoxing it could be from that definitely

Ressurect,

Are you on any meds for the detox? The eye muscle twitches in particular are a symptom of alcohol withdrawal. If you are not on any meds it is not surprising to experience this for a week or more.

How long have you been sober? __________________ It is easier to practice total abstinence than perfect moderation _______________________________________ Any quotes from the big book of AA are from the first edition, or are otherwise exempt from copyright infringement under the "fair use doctrine".
