| can i get some opinions please?
has anyone ever tried MS Contin? im currently on oxycontin/codone and my insurance refuses coverage of the oxycontin unless you have cancer...my chronic pain is out of control if i dont take my meds, so because the MS is covered 100% i need to try it as my oxy is almost $400 a month...what has your experience been with it? did it work well/not so well? any bad side effects? any input is appreciated...thanks!

Sorry Krissy, don't know anything about that. Just want you to know that you are not being ignored, the silence is just that nobody here has experience with that. Mike

I have a family member on MS. She actually was knocked out on the Oxy so her doctor switched her medication. She still needs Codiene for the breakthrough pain, but now can take it. When on the Oxy it was knocking her out so she was fearful to take breakthrough meds. I was also on MS for a bit of time and it worked wonderfully. As with my family member I did have to adjust the dose with the doctor (I went up in dosage, she went down). Please keep us updated.

I always remind people to talk to their pharmacist too, they know a lot about medication/cost and how they work. I've had great luck talking to my pharmacist about medications that the military pharmacy doesn't carry that I actually have to pay for. I hope your meds continue to work well for you.
