| Welcome-Please read before posting Welcome to our new forum. This forum has the potential for problems so it is up on a trial basis. This forum is for members in recovery who struggle with pain management. Please keep posts on topic. It is not a forum to debate clean time in relationship to prescription medication. Threads that turn into a debate over clean time will be closed or posts will be removed. Suggested Topics: Accountability when using prescribed pain medication. Alternatives to pain medication such as: Mind-Body Therapies Acupuncture Aromatherapy Biofeedback Chiropractic Homeopathy Hydrotherapy Hypnosis Magnetic field therapy Massage Meditation Naturopathy Relaxation and breathing techniques Yoga Please keep in mind that some members of Soberrecovery are in recovery for addiction to many pain medications and post so that your sharing and experience does not trigger those who may be reading. Keep the focus on recovery and not "detailed experience" with medications being used. Posts that contain information or experience with illegal substances or street drugs used for pain management will be removed. No medical advice! Please discuss all treatment options with your physician. |

| I am so happy to see this forum on here. I have pain mgt. issues and I think this is going to be a wonderful addition to SR. God Bless whoever put this into play and I truly hope everyone will respect this forum. Thank You, Judy |

| To Everyone: I am so thrilled to see how quickly this wonderful new forum was set up! My own feeling is that it will be a unique place where those of us can share the myriad of topics that exist, and Morning's suggested topics are some which are brand new to me, and I cannot wait to look into aome of the alternative methods that are listed... Thanks to all of the Sober Recovery staff for responding so fast in the creation of the forum. |

| MG, thanks for bringing this new forum here... i live with someone in pain management, and have lost one in pain management too... this forum will be a huge benefit to me... prob wont be do'n much post'n, just a hell of a lot of read'n! rz |
