here is a story for you.
True, as told by my uncle.

One of my uncles was a wild teen and just as wild when he had gotten out of the service. He had a girlfriend and a motorcycle at the same time. The girlfriend was as wild as he or even more so. As they were riding through Boston, he hit a pothole. Lost control, the bike goes down.
My uncle, with Kathy still holding on around his waist, slide across Commonwealth Ave on his butt, up over the curbed center island of the road, down the other side and came to a stop at the far side of the road.

He gets up cursing. The girlfriend gets up laughing and says... That was fun, can we do it again?

A few months later ( no girlfriend) he meets my aunt and they marry soon after.
Fast forward 15 years... he is working in town and he sees the old girlfriend. He runs over and says... " What the Hell, is that you Kathy?" Mary mother of God, how the hell are you doing?" Well I'll be dam, what have you been up to?" And Kathy replies.... Well Hello John, I thought you knew. When I broke up with you, I went into the convent and became a nun. (And she was a real nun.)
With that an instant flashback of all his words of the past few minutes and he says... Oh S*&^% Your not joking are you? Oh S*^&% I am so sorry for my language and again he realizes, he had said more yet again.
He talked about that day for the next ten years and he would still turn red with each telling.
