Kowalski had just been convicted of public drunkenness. The judge looked down sternly from the bench and said, "Mr. Kowalski, this is the tenth time I've seen you in court this year. You ought to hang your head in shame." Said Kowalski, indignantly, "That's true, your honor, but I've seen you here ten times too, and I don't criticize you." |
