that looks like a dog I grew up with she was a good dog although most folks said she could win an ugly dog contest......

I liked my German Shephard, he laid at my feet 10 feet away.
All I ever said to him was to call him for food and shoo!
But he was a great babysitter. When my son would take off exploring (get lost in the cornfield) I would call for my son, the dog would come to me, trot ahead, look back, wait for me to catch up and take my to my overly adventurous young-un.
Now if only he would have tracked the shoes that the kid inevitably dumped somewhere along the way!
