There is a sign in our kitchen at work which reads, "Your mother doesn't work here - so clean up after yourself"

My sister gave that to my wife and one year later I did adjust. She just said well if you feel you must then go. I went, I saw, I recovered, I adjusted correctly.

and that one was in our house growing up. With 11 children it sure was true.
