| Getting dressed to see the doctor
My sis who now lives in Alabama was getting ready for her 2 week check up at the OBGYN as she was 8 months pregnant. She also had a 1 1/2 year old toddler and a 7 year old. It was early in the morning and she was running behind trying to gather the diaper bag and get everyone dressed. She had taken her bath late the night before to help her sleep. So she just wanted to take a quick rinse off to make sure all the major parts were fresh (if you know what I mean). She grabbed the washcloth she had used the night before off the side of the tub and used it to bath very very quickly. Remember she has a toddler in a walker to keep an eye on. Anyway, she gets to the appointment on time (barely). Her Dr., who is a woman, makes the comment during examination "Well, I see we got all dressed up for today's visit." Kristie (my sis) had no idea what she meant. Confused, she just dismissed the comment and went on with her day. Later that night, her 7 year old asked "Mama, where's my glitter?" She replied, "I dunno. Wheres the last place you had it?" She said well, I was playing with it in the bathroom and poured some out on a washcloth but it's gone now." After only a nano second, Kristie suddenly realized what the Dr. had meant. she went to her bedroom and pulled down her panties to look in the mirror. She had used that very washcloth to wash up and was covered with sparklies of all colors. |
