There is such an obvious response to your post, barbiedeb! Logic would have it then, that in the state of Pennsylvania (my home state) the following might be true: According to the Pennsylvania Dept. of Tourism most travelers come to Pennsylvania looking for Jugtown, PA hoping that it will take them to Beaverdale, PA. If their trip is pleasant they then hope to visit Intercourse, PA. Ah... but should they fail they simply end up in Blue Ball, PA and then visit Bird-in-Hand, PA ~ or hang a right and head for Stalker, PA. I couldn't resist |

A few Canadian beauties: Come-By-Chance - Newfoundland (if you saw where this place is you would know how it got it's name) Moose Jaw - Saskachewan Buffalo Jump - Alberta Wolfdung Lake - Alberta (I wouldn't swim there!!) Radium Hot Springs - B.C. Hell's Gate, B.C.....not far from "Hope" B.C.

DB - I think I'd like to live in Boongoondoo just so I could say it out loud if I was asked where I live! I've had some great laughs looking at some of the names on the Australian map. G'day, mate! Love and hugs. |

| MG: I once lived in Neptune, NJ (So yes I amfrom another planet!):cube: Just Tired: As a citizen of North Carolina home of "Mayberry" and Andy Griffith, I represent that remark! Barbiedeb: I used to live in PA myself. I've gotta mention Beaver Dam Beavertown & Beaver Springs (home of Joe Namath), and of course Punxsutawney, home of Phil the Groundhog (remember Groundhog Day?). Sit Tight: If the trip was pleasurable, then they must have passed thru Pleasureville? On their way to Paradise? (There's an old joke about that but I can't remember it; danged fibrofog!) Anns: In PA there's Hellwood. And of course for those swearing off profanity (corny pun intended), there is Hecktown. BTW would you swim in these SC rivers: Big & Little Pee Dee? ![]() Ya gotta love Pascagoula, Mississippi... Taz |

Head North on I-75 out of Detroit, MI and 1/2 way to Flint you'll pass; Exit 69 - Big Beaver Road. There is no exit 68, it jumps to exit 69. How the road crew got away with that one I have no idea but I still chuckle everytime I pass it.
