A useful lounge chair Kris..and even has a sponsor. I sometimes see a young couple- perhaps 20ish. They seem to keep their worldly possessions in a trolley. This is the funny bit..both look healthy, have all fingers/toes. BUT- she always sits in the trolley and he pushes her around.

I learnt a new skill at a meeting the other day. Rounding up. So $1999 becomes $2000. This lady rounded up her sobriety 'I am 2 years sober (then a pause) come October (a more quiet voice). Thus if we round up, or down, I terms of ' -10.' years- I have 12 years sobriety, come Feb 2028

I'll join you guys in confessing to a fear of heights in general, and of wide open heights like that even more! That picture scares the hell out of me too. This picture hangs on the wall at one of the locations of the cafe/bakery where I work, and looking at it even for a few seconds makes me woozy!

It's not the fall, it's the landing.

Johnny’s Speech
When Little Johnny was about to graduate from high school, he was asked to give a speech to his fellow graduating classmates. To avoid getting off track or saying something inappropriate, as he was known for, he had index cards with his speech on them in his hand.

He got on the stage, took a look at the first index card, then at his classmates and began his speech. “Fellow graduates, I want to talk about my mother and the wonderful influence she has had on my life,” he told the audience. “She is a shining example of parenthood, and I love her more than words could ever do justice.”

At this point he seemed to struggle for words. After a pause, he looked up with a sly grin and said, “Sorry, but it’s really hard to read my mother’s handwriting.”

A handsome man entered a hotel and asked to see the boss.
When the boss came, the story began.
-The customer: is room 39 empty?
"The boss: yes, sir.
-The customer: can I reserve it?
-The boss: of course, you can.
-The customer: thank you.
Before going into the room, the client asked the boss to provide him with a black knife, a 39 cm white thread and an orange 73g.
The boss agreed despite it being surprised by the weird things the customer had asked.
The client entered his room, he did not ask for food or anything else.
Unfortunately for the boss, his room was next to room 39.
After midnight, the boss heard strange voices and noise in this client's room.
Voices of wild animals and utensils and dishes are thrown on the ground.
The boss could not sleep that night.
He kept thinking and wondering what might be the source of the noise.
In the morning, when the guest handed the keys to the boss, he asked to see the room first.
He went into the room and found it all right. Nothing unusual. He even found the wire, the black knife and the orange on the table.
The customer paid the bill and gave the manager a very good tip and left the hotel with a smile.
The boss had a shock but he did not reveal what he heard from the manager.
In fact, he began to doubt himself.
After one year, the customer appeared again.
He asked to see the boss again.
The boss was in a puzzle.
The customer asked the same things: piece 39, black knife, 39cm white thread and orange 79g.
This time, the boss wanted to know the truth by all possible means.
He spent a sleepless night waiting for something to happen.
After midnight, the same voices and noises began, this time more and more strong and indecipherable than the year before.
Again, before leaving, the customer paid his bill and left a big tip on the table for the manager.
The smile did not leave his face.
The boss began to search for the meaning of everything the client asked to have. Why did he ask for Exhibit 39? Why the white wire? Why the black knife?
In fact, the boss did not come up with any convincing answer to all these questions.
The boss is now looking forward to the month of March, the month the client introduced himself.
To his surprise, on the first day of March, the same customer appeared.
He asked the same questions.
I wanted to reserve the same room, to have the same things as before.
The boss once again heard the same noises, this time even louder than before.
In the morning, when the customer left the hotel, the boss apologized politely to the client and asked to know the secret behind the noises in the room.
- '' If I tell you the secret, promise never to reveal it to anyone else? ''
"I promise I will not let anyone know."
- '' Swear ''
- '' I swear I will not reveal your secret ''
Finally, the client revealed his secret to the boss.
Unfortunately, the boss was a sincere person.
Until now, he has revealed his secret to no one.
When he does, I'll let you know.
