looking for help finding a decent recovery oriented chat room,that doesnt require AOL service.The few ive tried to sit in on were little more than behavior i remember when I was still drinking.After mentioning this to some of the people on-line,I was met with derision and told to leave if I didnt f------ like it. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.P.S., Ive been sober since 7-11-85.you can reach me at abecbj@yahoo.com

Welcome to the boards real!

Well the message boards are very active and you might want to take a look at the AA and alcoholism boards and see if any of the discussions interest you.

They are just getting back into scheduled chats. You can find the times in the announcement that is posted at the top of each forum. I am not sure how busy the chats are yet. Also you can also make a post or PM someone and ask them if they are available to chat.
