Happy third Birthday SRF! OOOOOOOOOOOOO Me, me,me, I want a free T-shirt!!!!!!!!! Why should i get a T-shirt? Well, why not!!!! LOL!!! If I got a T-shirt I could be a walking bill board for SRF,or I could use it for a night shirt,or a shirt to wear over my bathing suit ( Make it a um large one please). Really though,it would be neat to have, but even if I don't get one,it's fun just to be here on SRF!!! Zoomer |

Gosh Zoomer, that has me laughing here so hard. LOL My vote goes to Zoomer for the free t-shirt, hands down. Hec with that much enthusiasm, Zoomer deserves it, LOL. Here's the real test, Jon said no licking icing off the cake, so here's the cake, and don't you dare be licking it or sticking your finger in it. Still laughing here, great way to start a day off Zoomer, not to mention SOBER again too. Luv and hugs.....Just Me.....Denise |

| HAPPY B-Day S.R. I am proud to be a member in sober recovery. Although I came to the site with a few twenty four hours, This site has helped me through good times and bad. I am greatful to at anytime come into this site let go of what ever may be bothering me and I get the response I need. I have met a really nice bunch of people that have become part of my life in recovery. I remember when I first came on and I was on shakey ground in my recovery and I posted a thread and my envelope was pouring over with responses. I am so greatful to be a member of S.R. The people of S.R are so honest and helpful too. I have gathered up the courage to get a sponcer after two years in recovery trying to do it on my own. I read a power post and Thank God that I did it gave me the push I needed to get a sponcer. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy B-day Sober Recovery. I hope to grow with this site as I said I have two years, I have been a member almost six months, and S.R is three, So lets grow together. I hope to be a member and share Birthdays with S.R for more years to come. And this is why I want to win a S.R mug or T-shirt So that I can drink my coffee while I read, respond, or post Threads on this site, or I may wear it from time to time to remind me how great this site is....

| Happy Birthday Happy Birthday Sober Recovery! I would like to have a tee shirt because I would wear it many places and it would give me an opportunity to let people know where they might go for help. I haven't been annonymous about my alcoholism for years. I have been sober for 10 years and love to help others who need a hand up. I would love a cup to sip my herbal tea in. It would remind me to go back to the boards where others may need encouragement. Even if I am not one of the ones who receive a prize, I am grateful to have the opportunity to say thank you for opening this forum so we can help each other learn how to live sane and sober lives Glenda Anderson (Katesong) |

| Happy Birthday!!
I just found this site yesterday and it will probably (definitely?) be my sanity saver in the weeks to come. I have made the decison to through out the alcoholic in my life and start anew. Now I have you! In terms of advertising I work at a Detox center and have my smoke breaks with the guys from the rehab center! I can't think of a more appropriate shirt to wear on casual Fridays. I intend to start printing out thoughts and relevant messages (if that's not a problem), putting them in a binder and leaving it on the coffee/snack table in our unit. (how's that for newbie brown-nosing??!!) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU YOU RUN A GOOD ZOO HAPPY BIRTHDAY SR I LOVE WHAT YOU ARE |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOBER RECOVERY! The greatest gifts has already been given to me by coming here, reading the posts, knowing that I can get help and healing anytime night or day....the only regret I have is that I didn't find you sooner and that you don't have spell check...LOL.at the last part of the comment, read my posts if you don't believe me. JON, I told you we only have one stop light in our town but I would be willing to wear the SR t shirt to my meetings, round-ups, assembies, and on Main street...U.S.A. (as soon as we find our way out of here)...It will also give me a chance to offer my experience, strength and hope to a whole town of people in 'denile.... Make mine an 2x-large please. Coffee mug, now as to that I really need to take the mug with me every where...I've been drinking coffee since I was 1 1/2, and all mine are worn out...besides that just think of all the remarks that will be made about why, where, when, and all the 12 stepping I can do while just enjoying my coffee. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS ALL OF YOU AS YOU CARRY SR TO NEW HIEGHTS. MY HIGHER POWER IS THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS, YOU ARE THE BREEZE.

| HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Happy Birthday to the Sober Recovery Forums! I am so grateful that these forums are here. I know that they have helped so many people. I look forward to their continual growth and aid to those in need from year to year. What a great thing to celebrate! Now, about why I should win a coffee mug or t-shirt. Well, in recovery, I have learned that I deserve nice things. And an SR t-shirt or coffee mug would be a very nice thing indeed. There was at time when I wouldn't have been able to tell you why I deserved to win anything. But my recovery in the Alanon program has taught me that I do deserve nice things every day. My recovery has also taught me to play nice and be glad for the good fortune of others. So if I don't win, I will be happy for those who do. Again, I celebrate with joy the birthday of these forums. They are a living Twelfth Step. Peace, Gabe |

| Happy Birthday to the proud Papa (Jon)! There are not enough words to express the gratitude I have for SR! Like some have already mentioned I am winning because I found this place 4 1/2 months ago. There is no doubt I would be drinking tonight had I not found SR. I don't deserve a T-shirt or mug, I have to many blessing because of my sobriety which I found here. :bparty3 Until the day I am 10 feet under I will always be grateful for the fellowship, friends near and far I have found here. Most importantly I love this place for showing me the love and compassion my HP still has for me a pitiful alcoholic. Because you guys especially the mods, got me into the rooms of AA I am happy again, not alone, living each day in blissful sobriety and appreciating all the blessing my HP has bestowed upon me. Like I said, there are just not enough words to express my gratitude. If there is ever an SR reunion you can count on me being there. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SR! The lives you have saved from addiction will forever be in your debt! |

I cannot believe that SR is only 3! With all the wisdom and support here, you'd think SR's been around for years. I joined the site in Nov 2002, and have been checking in here, to the Alanon and Naranon boards daily for almost a year. I am always welcomed with encouragement and warmth, no matter what mood I'm in... and in our every day life, there are few people who can give this of themselves on a personal basis. The anonimity here is a special part of our community - we can be nameless AND faceless, and still have valueble information to share and receive; At times, THIS is a safe haven for so many lost souls. So, I find myself thinking that are certain people who deserve a special gift, such as this unique T-shirt. Certain people who come here mostly to share what they have learned - to encourage others to "keep at it". One lady in particular stands out in my mind; her name is Anne. Ask anyone... this lady is full of wisdom; always has the right words, and gives out warmth and encouragement like she is bursting at the seams with it. She is an Anon like I... and I don't think I would have gotten thru my crazy life lately, without people like her Anyhow... Happy Birthday SR!! Hope there are many more years to come Take care Meg

| Happy Birthday, Soberrecovery!
Happy Birthday! Well, there is absolutely no rational reason at all why I should win a t-shirt or a mug, which, I think, is the best reason of all! This is a folly board after all! Hey, I have a beach near my home called "Folly Beach." No wonder I love it so much! Seriously, I just had to wish us all a happy birthday. I was looking for the right place to do that, when I stumbled across this invitation somewhere. Thanks Jon, for inviting me to the party. And thanks to all of you who have been here celebrating life each day at a time with me! And the support is about the most reliable thing in my life right now! If I can grow to be nearly as reliable, I will have grown alot! Love you all, Nancy

I should be giving you a T-Shirt for allowing me to participate in my own recovery with a great bunch of guys. It has been a great time and I've seen many people actually grasp the process and recover from addiction as well as many who have gone out to experiment once again. In any event Soberrecovery is here, patient, consistent, compassionate and willing to help as well as receive help. Once again "Happy Birthday!" Just for Today------------------------I am Sober |
