Brett Favre, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Packers flag in the window. 'This house is yours for eternity, Brett,' said God. 'This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here.' Brett felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a blue and silver sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Cowboys flag, and in every window, a blue star. Brett looked at God and said, 'God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was the league's all-time leader in pass completions and a Hall of Famer.' God said, 'So what do you want to know, Brett?' 'Well, why does Tony Romo get a better house than me?' God chuckled and said, 'Brett, that's not Tony Romo's house. It's mine.' |

Thanks! There's another board where I am a member and there was quite the discussion yesterday between two guys about the Steelers v. Cowboys stats. I thought I'd post this little joke over there just to stir the pot a bit. Also, I copied the banner and am using it as my signature. Previously, I just had the Cowboy helmet and "GO COWBOYS." I think this banner is better! Thanks again!

That's so funny!! had to send it to my Brother & nephew in Dallas who are definitely Cowboy fans - Thanks, Rita and my brother added this story Here is one that I heard that you might enjoy (a true story)…. Tom Brokow (the NBC Anchor) attended the Superbowl with Tim Russert back in 1992 (Superbowl XXVII - Cowboys vs Bills). Tim before the game on Meet the Press said that God was on the Bill’s side. Tom said that he thought this was a little over the top. Tim said not at all that he was going all out. Lighting candles, praying the rosary, having Mass said for the Bill’s victory. After the game (Cowboys win 52 – 17) Tom was walking out of the stadium with Tim, Tom looked at Tim and said, “You know what this proves don’t you? God’s a Baptist.” (ha ha ha- thought it was funny - not promoting any religious affiliations, please take no offense)
