A friend shared this in a meeting today, where one of the topics was death (there was a funeral going on in another part of the church): 'My uncle literally drank himself to death. He used to hide his booze all over the house, but mostly in the garage where he spent a lot of his time. He would use unmarked plastic containers/jugs and store it on the shelf with other stuff. One afternoon, while already pretty intoxicated, he mistakenly drank half a bottle of varnish before he realized that it wasn't alcohol. He was dead that night. A terrible way to go, but he had a beautiful finish.'
