Ok, so this hunter loses his prized hunting dog of many years. He is distraught. He will never find another dog as good.
Then one day he is reading in the paper and sees an ad: "one hunting dog, walks on water". The hunter, thinking this is nuts but can't resist calls up to see the dog. Sure enough when he gets there the dog does walk on water. So, he buys the dog.
He is ecstatic and can't wait to tell his hunting buddies. Then, of course, he realizes no one will believe him. So he decides to just wait and let them see it for themselves.
The duck season comes up and they are off. He is in the blind with his buddy and sees an unlucky duck. He shoots, the duck drops to the water on the other side of the lake. He turns to his dog and says fetch. Off it goes, running along the top of the lake, picks up the duck and returns and lays it at his master's feet.
Beaming with pleasure he turns to his buddy and says "So what do you think of my new dog?" His buddy calmly replies, "What he can't swim?"
