Hello

I just started to stop smoking again.I am trying the patch.I do miss having a smoke in my mouth.I am trying to chew on straws,it works a little.

Hi, DRS....

First, Welcome to SR!!!

And congratulations on your decision to quit!!!

Here's some tips from my own quit - now at Seven months, four weeks, one day, 22 hours, 34 minutes and 19 seconds nicotine free. That's 9677 cigarettes not smoked, saving $2,660.88. Life saved: 4 weeks, 5 days, 14 hours, 25 minutes.

I hope the tips help. And don't forget to post on the daily check in. That accountability is helpful, especially in the beginning. Finally, look at the stickys at the top of the forum.
