My first day I shouted at my other half that if the dogs went out for a pee they had to be back for 8am, because I was leaving then and DID THEY ********* UNDERSTAND THAT?! It will get better, promise. I'm almost human now. J

I admire you FIVE and anyone else who is giving up the weed!...i did it cold turkey twice in this lifetimeand started again...for **** sake why??????????????? so here i am still addicted and hating it.....way to go five.....keep it up my friend.... |

I was snappy on saturday. My friend said, "let's see, your husband is in the hospital and you've haven't had a cigarette in a week, and you think your not supposed to be snappy!" lol I guess she had a point. Keep going. I can't believe I am doing this.

Five, I feel really bad for my kids...sometimes I'm ok, calm...then other times, wow I fly off the handle at some of the stupidest crap. I'm at the close of day 9 for me...which I can't frickin' believe!!! The 2nd, 3rd, and 7th day were the absolute worst for me (so far). Chanting over and over and over..."I don't want to smoke" seemed to really help me a lot. That and the pained look of my 9 year old...and my mom...and my dad...and my husband...my baby hasn't figured out that "yuckies" are harmful to one's health yet. Just for today, just for this moment. I found a "non-smoking" sponsor which has helped me be accountable. He's a really intense dude that I know wouldn't hesitate to kick my arse...kinda scares me back into almost "believing" that "I don't want to smoke!!!". LOL Good luck, this too shall pass, Jen |
