I'm back

I reset my quit meter just now, it just clicked to 28 minutes. I have the knowledge and tools given to me through the program that I work, it's just tough to apply these principles to smoking. I almost had a month without smoking. I was hanging out at the ciggarette pit outside one of my meetings I frequent. All thoughts of quitting went right out my head. I asked for a smoke, I got one, felt guilty, then slipped into my ****-it state of mind. off to the discount store. The whole time smoking, I had these terrible head aches, dry mouth, chapped lips, grinding my teeth.... don't know if all that was related to me picking up smoking again, most likely it was, but it feels terrible. I feel like my tongue is twice as big as normal right now..... ARRGGGGGG!!!!!!! so here I am, back again, I need to stay away from the places people smoke at

Hiya, unspun!
Glad you made it back!
Love that Confucius saying in your signature line.

Focus on behaviors. Changing those smoking behaviors; replacing them with positive behaviors; will help you stay focused on your quit. Will power won't do it.

Be well. Check into th daily check in to stay accountable and keep us updated on how it's going.

Keep the quit and post before you puff!

Shalom!

Good on you Unspun! Glad you're continuing with it.
You obviously live by that confusious saying!
It was great to hear about the negitive smoking experience too- It's motivating and reminded me of how bad smoking actually is.

(((Unspun)))
It will get better, my friend...
And thank you for reminding me why I never want another cigarette in my life.
I NEVER want to quit again!
One day at a time....

Keep the quit and post before you puff!

Shalom!
