Hi All,

I hope you're having a fantastic day! I never realised that SoberRecovery had a nicotine section, but very glad it's here.

Today marks three weeks since I've had a smoke. It's great. I've quit sooo many times before but I've usually started again by now. I'm committed to quitting for good this time and I hope you guys will join me!

I went out last night for a few drinks, ended up having a few more than was good for me (but that's a different issue but I DIDN'T have a smoke, which was brilliant. I feel good for it today too (hangover's not bad at all- though also another issue .

My hair stinks, I mean REALLY stinks of smoke, my jeans smell disgusting. The ciggerette smoke permeates into everything. I'm coughing heaps today too, just because of the smoke in the pub- makes me wonder how I could breathe it directly into my lungs!

Anyway, I'm feeling the benefits. I've always money in my pocket cause I'm not spending $10 (AUD) a day on ciggerettes, I don't smell, I don't have a constant craving and although I'm currently using patches, I can feel my need to smoke slipping slowly away. I'm heathier and proud of my acheivement!

The only problem is I'm going to have to start planning for a longer life!
