My last group meeting... - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Tonight was the last of my smoke cessation groups.

Actually, I've never been to this particular meeting. I was going during the day while I was out on my stress leave. And I was going twice a week. I honestly found the f2f support and the information given by the counselor to be very helpful. You know I've shared a lot of what I've learned here on these boards.

Anyway, my allotted time was up today. I gave Lonnie a card to thank him, and told him my sister was going to be calling him too. (She asked me for the number; I must have "inspired" her, lol!)
Lonnie was so nice! He told me I could continue to come! And since I've been very triggered at work, I WILL continue to go, at least for a while. It's working and I don't want to break it! I feel very fortunate. And very grateful!

So, I guess it's not my last group afterall! lol!
