| Feeling Cranky - Real Cranky
I'm not certain if I'm feeling cranky because I'm not smoking or it's just a personality defect coming through....but, whatever the reason, I'm really cranky...this is NO way to celebrate New Year's Eve. :bbe: Breath deep, smile. Roa |

Some years I don't celebrate New Year's Eve. I just experience it on my own. This year is another one I will do so. But, cranky comes with not smoking, lol! ![]() I forgot, you are using the gum, right? Are ya breathing deep, in through your nostrils; out through your nose? Got a cinimon stick? Suck on it. Reduces cravings and more. Is there someone you can call? Remember, even just waiting it out, it WILL go away. How about a short brisk walk? ![]() Shalom!

I'm thinking this will be the best New years for me ever. Been a few in the past, I was past out right now. Not having a smoke will keep us healthy. Keep those hands busy and your mind

Thanks you guys. The deep breathing and keeping busy really helped...along with an extra piece of gum. That really took the edge off. Thanks, again. Hey Jennifer, I'm not certain what a pity pot is. Is that the same as a pity party? No thanks to either. I was not feeling sorry for myself, just cranky. The gum took care of that. |

Roa; Glad to see the extra pice of gum helped along with the other tools you're learning. Sounds like the crankies were caused by withdrawal. Ohhh, what we do to ourselves. ![]() But, you're doing great! ![]() YOu came and posted, took the edge away! It's easy to say, the heck with it. It's hard when we're dealing with those cravings. So, be proud of yourself! We're proud of you too!!! And I just LOVE that yoga smilie!!! LOL! SisofD; Yep, you're right. I messed it up! It is out through the mouth. Thanks! :>) Shalom!
