I now have one week, five days, 13 hours, 20 minutes and 58 seconds smoke free. That's 502 cigarettes not smoked, saving $138.11. Life saved: 1 day, 17 hours, 50 minutes. ![]() But, today, it was a very difficult day. I had the strongest urges!!! Even sitting here now in my pjs with my evening cup of tea, which is my relaxing time, I'm urging. Not as badly as this morning and afternoon, but, it's still there. Now, I really don't want one, intellectually. And I'm not under any more stress than I have been; albiet I've been highly stressed for about 2 months now, and not sleeping well. Only slept through the night one time in all that time. Last night, I even took a xanax to try and sleep through, and it didn't work. So, I don't want one, but, man, am I jonesing for one. How weird is that? I hope tomorrow is easier... Shalom!

Thanks, grumpy, Trish... ![]() Move a muscle to change a thought....Good one, Trish. I forgot about CBT! LOL! Thoughts which lead to feelings which lead to behaviors can be changed by changing what we're doing. Very good indeed! Thanks for the reminder! Now, why the heck didn't I remember that? Oh, yea. Got a strong case of CRS going on. (Can't Remember Sh!T) And ya know what? It IS all in my head! ![]() Shalom!

If it were easy most folks would have already quit. The tough days make for easy days. You are doing great, keep on keeping busy.

![]() And I realized why I was jonesing so much. I was drinking last night. That's why I know I can't drink if I'm going to stay quit! And I'm mad at myself. I know better, and did it anyway! Drinking always leads me right back to smoking. Back to square one... Shalom!
