Hi all,
It is to my deepest regret that I have to announce...
I FELL OFF THE SMOKING WAGON THIS SUMMER!

OHHH, I could just kick myself!
My bad...
Do you beleive that, almost a year off smoking, plus I gained 20 pounds in that year, then I start again!
Whack me a good one with that pan!
Anyway, as of this a.m. I am not smoking anymore, and
let me tell ya one good reason, I smoke, I get this Gobby ugly cough...and it scares the bejees out of me...So if that's what it takes, so be it.

Wow, I feel better after posting that....

No patches no nothing.
I quit.

Seems funny there's no one on the weekends. Many people go out on Fri and Sat night, have a few drinks, and bingo! Right back to smoking. But, that's where planning not to fail would come in, and the 24 hour recorded suggestions would be helpful too, I guess.

But since I was almost quit for a year, I know how it's suppose to go.

Actually, I haven't smoked since yesterday, and so far, so good.
I've just made up my mind, I can't pick up a smoke.

yup.. been there too...
Dec 21 will be year 2 in this attempt...
and I'm really struggling right now...
so... it helps me to hear your angst... ;o)

I know that it's because I'm trying to restain myself in some other areas .. and now that bytch is looking for another way to express herself... lol
and I say bytch lovingly... cause there's stuff I like about my addict as well...
but..

you know when the idea of having a smoke first enters the mind... and ya get that rush of .... """" yeahhhhhhh"""" and a blast of anticipation... and looking forward to... and then I think... where's my smokes....
and then there's this 2 second break where I remember I don't smoke anymore...
and I get such a let down feeling...
it's really beginning to grate on me...

But... I jsut keep coming to SR...
keep my mind occupied...
try to stay busy...
think neutral thoughts...

my cat is driving me crazy...
she's rubbing me as well... lol
she wants me to maul her...
so.. I guess I'll get all hairy and sneeze for an hour after and give one of us some intense pleasure...lol

not smoking....

just for today.

Well, day two.
Which is not too bad, because I have a cold, and keep getting this tickle, and want to cough.
I think it's my H.P.'s way of saying stop this smoking, you're killing yourself.

To tell the truth, I had a very happy Summer, cause I was smoking, now, how sick is that?
I am a nicotine addict.
