41 hours later

Haven't smoked for 41 hours. Wowie!!! Saved $15 dollars. WOWIE!!!
Sleeping good, my noisy wheezing isn't waking me up. Coughing less, enjoying more.

61 hours now. $20.00 not spent. Everything is going okay. Wanted a smoke last night, but not bad enough to have one. I can actually talk on the phone without a cigarette hanging out of my mouth!

Thanks for the support.

Love,
Ro

Keeping up with what you have saved on cigarettes is a great idea. The money spent on cigarettes is only a part, think of the saving on your healthcare that is bound to follow.

Thanks for the encouragement. Alrerady, my breathing is better. Didn't get winded mowing the lawn. Cough is still pretty deep, not as often though. This is kind of fun in a strange kind of way. What changes will I notice next...can hardly wait.

Food will taste better, your sense of smell will improve too. That can be a good/bad thing. I am having trouble getting the years of smoking smells out of the house, car, workshop, clothes. I think I am going to have to do some painting! Oh well. I have tried to use an air freshener in the car. Now it smells like cigarette smoke and air freshener lol.

Whoa - cigarettes & air freshner! What a delightful combination. LOL. I've been avoiding getting gas - the station owner knows my brand & has them on the counter when I go in to pay for the gas. Plus I'm certain the smell in my car will be enough to bring back memories....not to mention the choice butts in the ash tray. :slaphead Test no. 138 coming up. :sweat

Emptied the ash tray before I got in the car....ohhhh there were some choice butts, but I let them go. Made it to the gas station, got gas and no cigarettes. Good Girl.

Did good yesterday too. Oh Shucks! A smoker came over and having no pride whatsoever...I bummed not one, not two, but three cigarettes. I feel like I've been poisoned...oh, I have. Anyway back on track again this morning.
