| One Day at a Time!
Hi everyone I have decided to quit my cigar habit. I am one day clean so far! I read Alan Carr's Easyway, which does make a lot of sense - the brainwashing etc. But I think the 12 step programme is the best way to tackle this drug by taking one day at a time (even one hour) and by doing step one - I am powerless of nicotine and my life has become unmanageable. I am able to go through these withdrawal symptoms, knowing that in a few days it will be over and I will be free! I will remember that the only way is not to light that first cigar and know that it will not help me in any way at all. |
