Dec 21 was 1 year for me... smoke free. It still surprises me.

..I've just made, is that when the urge is gripping me, that if I run up and down all the stairs in the building one after the other, it helps.

You get some funny looks though.

Actually, I'm feeling tip top but I have to say if I have to stuff one more bit of fruit in this stomach I'll pop.

Thank you for your thoughts, Bikewench, it feels good not to be alone. How are you doing today?
(I've actually started to think about other people this afternoon, so something good must be happening!)

Jeeze, I'm so grateful this is my only addiction. I am so full of admiration for others how have battled much more than me.

Yes, that must be true because it's been in a television programme. So that must mean that if I smoke a pipe I won't die of lung cancer/ arterial disease / other disgusting slow painful death.

It's just like if you eat frozen guiness you DIE!!! lolololol!!!!!!

Yes, in my teenage days it was well known that if you made ice-lollies from Guiness and ate them you would die.

Of course, noone was brave (or stupid) enough to try, so it's truth has gone unchallenged.

And now my son is a teenager and I'm wondering if he's having nightmares about having his tongue stuck to a Guiness ice-lolly.
