i get nervous just thinking about quitting smoking...i'm 21 and have been smoking for 6 yrs...i've been sober off of meth, crack, alcohol and pot for a little over 4 months now, and i'm not sure if i can quit the cigarettes...i want to very much, i know it'd be better for me and i'd save a lot of money...but i have a lot of anxiety about quitting...ne advice would be appreciated

Oh man, Samantha. I quit smoking cold-turkey 13 years ago. I really, really applaud your attitude, but you might consider going easy on yourself about this one for now. I may be crazy - probably am - but quitting the booze and drugs is so much more important. I wouldn't try to do too much all at once, and risk letting the nic cravings trip me up on the more important stuff.

Just my two cents of course. I really am in awe that you would think of tackling it all at once.

I concur with Brookie.

Easy does it Samantha. You are doing great. I would suggest thinking carefully about whether you might jeopardise all that you have achieved by trying to do to much. You have plenty of time lass. Maybe the anxiety you feel about quitting smoking is telling you something here?
