My 6 month anniversary - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I don't know if any of you will remember me. I came here in May asking for help with my double addiction. As of today I am 6 months free from tobacco and I never could have done this without this site and the support of the people here. I'm going to post this on the newbie page too since that's where I first posted. If I can beat this all of you can. Thanks! Janice

I'm glad that there are others other there that are working just as hard on not smoking as I have. This November made one year for me free of nicotine. Things are so much better and things taste so much better. I had originally stopped smoking for my son but then I did it for myself. I live with seven other smokers and my S.O. is one of them. It has gotten to the point that I try to tell him that he should try not smoking because when they all walk into the house after being outside smoking, I get almost physically sick to my stomach. The smell is so bad that I actually choke. One day they will get it, but until then congrats to you for a job well done.
