24 Hour No Nicotine/No Smoking Club - Part 12
Back to school I go tmr. Going for my bachelor's at the local uni. Stressed, nervous, excited. No cigs needed though. As I write that a teeny voice says "ahhh, give me a flippin cig!!! F it!". Gotta smile, cuz that little bugger likes to hang around and be pesky occasionally. Like when I first quit and someone would give me kudos I would immediately get a huge craving. No cig for me I'm doneskies:-) 24
Way to go, Lorax! Great job quitting now and going back to school, if I could go back in time, I'd join you!
Drum roll please....Eight months smoke-free today! As thrilled as I am with my sobriety and smoking cessation time, I know that it's the first "one" that will unleash the cravings again, and that's not an option for me any longer.
Happily back for another 24 smoke-free hours!

Well I am back yet again. I decided to have just one cigarette on Saturday night and now the cravings have started again. It wasn't just one it led to another and another same old story. I don't know why I don't get it ugh!!
I am not going back there so posting here that I am going to go nicotine free for the next 24 hours, along with 24 AF...

Lorax, I will forever have that image in my mind if and when a craving arises!
As I mentioned in the January class thread, my new year's resolution is to put some healthy rewards/goals in place as something to look forward to. I'm going to calendar in a massage at the end of the month and a manicure/pedicure mid-month for the entire year. The money I'm saving from eliminating drinking and smoking should be more than enough for my "me" fund. And the money I save from eliminating ice cream should fund the new wardrobe I'll need after shedding the extra 15 pounds I'm carrying around.
Another 24 smoke-free hours for me, please.
