Want to quit Grizzly Wintergreen Pouches

I have been alcohol free for 12 days, and have waited to take the leap from nicotine until my alcohol craves were under control a little more.
I am TERRIFIED, my last attempt was only 4 days and I caved when I drank, so maybe it will be easier this time. I am so addicted that I crave one the minute I wake up. And my main symptom is extreme irritability and just plain meanness. Just looking for encouragement I guess.

I need to quit cigs. I am so addicted and they are so unhealthy and they stink.

When is your day one on nicotine? Maybe we can partner up on this!

I have one can left, will probably last me the day. I will make tomorrow my day one. UGHH That's a commitment....but I really have to do it. Last night before bed I found a white patch under my lip where the pouch site, I really freaked out thinking it was cancer, but when I woke up it was smaller and kind of rubbed off, so I think it was just mushed skin from having something rubbing on it so much. I have the pouch in my bottom lip but can't keep moving it around and hoping for the best. Leukoplakia CAN turn cancerous and I know that. So why would I play with fire? So dumb!
OK, tomorrow is my day one. *deep breath*

Not good!! I am so addicted!! Arrghhh I am selfishly waiting until I hit my goal weight which is tantalizingly close, only 14 pounds.
I can go a whole day with a nicotine patch on, but I don't want to use that when I actually quit, I found cold turkey works better.

what helped me out a lot, as because i am unable to workout , or move very well because of a back injury, was Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff. You can google it. Its nicotine free, tobacco free. But for me it helps the mental addiction as i work through the physical addiction (usually 1-7 days). so I feel like im chewing, but im not......lol.

Its done some good things! One thing at a time for sure. Easy does it as they say .

Congrats! Copenhagen long cut was my demon. I got off of it white knuckling and speed eating sunflower seeds. Even 5 years after I quit I always have a bag of seeds around to throw in my mouth if I get a craving.
