My father-in-law is 65 yo. He tried to quit smoking several times in the past. He tried "Smoke Away" this summer and is not smoking anymore. He said it was the easiest program to be on and he had few side effects when he used the program as directed. He looks and feels 100% better. I'm very proud of him. Hope this helps. Sandy |

WOW!!! Thanks for the information! I have been wondering about that program, as I cannot take the zyban. Can you share any information about it with us? What it entails? I would appreciate it very much if you could. Thanks! Shalom!

Ah, I recently received my box of smoke away... According to the box, it is a three step homeopathic medicine. It also comes with a CD. "Formula 1" is supposed to provide the nutritional support that your body needs to rid itself of toxins and promote a healthy immune system to repair the damage caused by smoking. Antioxidents, calming herbs etc. You take four tablets with eight oz. of water or mik, and food the first night. Starting the next AM you take 4 tablets 3x for three days, then two tablets 3x a day until supply is gone. Then there's the "natural homeopathic meds" formulated to curb nicotine cravings and minimize withdrawl. 3 tablets under your tongue as soon as a craving starts Last but not least is "Formula 2" which is designed to help stop the urges from returning... if you do experience a strong urge that doesn't go away, you can take up to 4 of these tablets 2x a day. I have a plan in my head -- Zyban and patch to start, once I'm weaned off via patch, I would do the smoke away to cleanse my system and provide additional support. The only problem is that I don't have health ins. and Zyban (or even the Wellbutrin generic stuff) is very expensive... So, it will take some time to actually work my plan - in the mean time, however, I will probably try to make a go of it with just the patch followed by the Smoke Away. Marti
