| Miss Grumpy Pain in the Pants | I quit....but
my head is spinning right now! I'm using the patch and I think it's helping, but I can hardly see straight. My quit date is 8/17, as of tonight it will be 48 hours. I think if I can make it thru the first 48 it will really help. How do I get thru this dizziness??

I went cold turkey so not sure if this will help you. I drank a ton of water and ate like a pig. It seems we smokers get a signal from the nicotine that mimic our bodies telling us our blood sugar levels are good and as we adjust our nicotine levels our blood sugar levels dip. Drink juice, especially orange juice helps. I also napped whenever it really felt horrible the first few days. Hang in there, all the symptoms fade with time. Right now you're just trying to beat the clock. |
