24 Hour No Nicotine/No Smoking Club - Part 8
Hi everyone today is 3 months nicotine free! I'm shocked that I did that. There is no way I would have believed it if someone told me that I wouldn't smoke a cigarette for three months! I'm so happy and so done with cigs! I never ever want to pick up that nasty addiction again!
okay, I thought about it for a couple days...
firebolt, 3 months went by pretty quick. yeah because 61 days is only 2 months...
okay I'm done being a smart-a
It's good to see everyone hopping on this nicotine free ride. I had cravings for two days. I toughed it out and feel much better. Just got home from gym and had b-fast.

Keep up the good work all!
sorry I couldn't resit firebolt
cleanin on 3 months yeah! everyone is doing great!
another day of $3.50 not being spent on dip. Weird thing about that, when my brand went to over 4 bucks I switched to a cheaper brand then it got worse. I was actually spending more because it was cheaper. They are sneaky!

Day 65.
Ha - I was going to quit the cigs when they hit $2 bucks a pack...ugg..The last year of my smoking was almost $8 bucks a day. Iish - thanks to the savings, I'll have a vintage motorcycle street fightered out and looking sweet here in about another month. 3 months of not smoking = $600 in parts. wow.

well done martina - have you tried anything to substitute your nicotine ritual?
have you tried any of the breathing exercises to help get over the cravings? look it up, plus pressure points to help with nicotine craving...
everyone is doing great. another 24 for me.

Where are the pressure points LBrain?
ps Day 11..
Sometimes when I see smokers I want to run over and steal a drag but instead I just feel sorry for them and am so glad that's not me. I was always ashamed of being a smoker so I hid it. Finding a place to smoke where no-one could see me and worrying about the smell took up so much mental energy. I find quitting cigarettes way easier than quitting weed, no comparison. I used lozenges at first then cut down and was off them in a month or so.
welcome to the group Ilovemyson... 30 days!
I'll have to get back with the pressure points. There was a holistic 'guru' at the rehab I went to and I joined the smoking cessation group. I have a some info on it. I finally quit after a year... when I was ready to.

Hi gang.
Good to see so many people here getting in good time!!
843 days no cigs for me. And yep, I'm still counting. It reminds me not to take it for granted because I worked so hard to get here. I had to quit so many times for it to stick. I wish I'd made it easy on myself and just never started again after the first time I quit. But I can't go back and change anything. All I can do is stay quit today and try to make it easy on myself this time around.

It's definitely nice to not be a slave to the dang cigs anymore, but I have to say, I miss the outdoors (except in -20 degree weather) social aspect of smoking. Oh well - a trade off I will never regret!
Day 67, $429 saved, 1198 cigs NOT smoked
