| I Want To Quit
Okay. I Want To Quit But Have No Clue How. I Have Tried Everything. The Longest I Have Gone Has Been 2 Months With The Patch. I Would Like To Go Cold Turkey...but Do Not Feel Like Failing Again. Any Advice?

Hi heartbroke. Wash everything. Even after a day of not smoking you will become aware of the freedom from that smell. Buy suckers. I ate about 12 bags my first week. I made my tongue raw. Eat ice cubes. Think of something it will be cool to do on your 80th birthday. Learn the words "I don't smoke" and use them instead of "I am trying to quit." "I quit" is good, too. Do jumping jacks until you cough and count them. Do more tomorrow. Refrain for three days and then buy a food that you really like and feel the taste explosion. Don't kid yourself that having just one will ease the pain and get you through. Talk to the miserable sons-of-tobbaconists and tell them you don't belong to them and you don't have to do their bidding. You don't. Decide to succeed. Failure happens when you believe it's possible to fail. Picture yourself doing things you normally do with a cigarette in your hand... only without. Be vivid. Come here and let us applaud your every day. It is magnificent to be free. Hugs, Smoke

Hey heartbroke1008! This won't be true any more when you read this, but I just noticed that this forum has 1008 posts as of this moment. It's kismet! Go for it. It's magic!

Hi heartbroke1008, May I suggest Zyban, I quit July 1st and it has worked really well for me, this time the little :devil2: is not hanging around so much. I am :8a: cool most of the time. It's worth going to your doctor, but Smoke is right wash everything, because soon the smell alone will start to get to you. Good luck, Penelope
