Nicotine Has Left the Building Nicotine takes approximately 5 to 7 days to leave your system; withdrawal symptoms can last from two weeks to several months. To cleanse the body and flush out the toxins, be sure to drink lots of water, sleep if and when you can (since the body does waste disposal during sleep), and use deep breathing often. You'll find that your ability to concentrate will increase while nicotine cravings decrease. Good tips on this one.
