Day 7

Well, I made it through a Saturday and not one serious craving. I thought about them a couple of times, but nothing I couldn't handle - helps that it's in the single digits outside and I don't want to be out there! LOL Been eating like crazy, not really more than usual, just at weird times. Trying to keep myself busy - doing stuff that I been meaning to do for a long time, but never found the time to actually do it - and that's a good thing!
1 week down and the rest of my life to go.
Thanks for listening and sharing.
:p

I'm right behind you cheering you on, Lavender.

I'm finding it a little tough, but not as bad as I thought it would be. My cravings are few and far between, but they are starting to really dig at me.

I'm trying to keep busy too, and also trying to have something to immediately turn to when the cravings come. I am reading a book and sometimes I just pick it up and start reading until I am engrossed in the book and forget about the craving.

Smoke free hugs
Ann

I have to admit I have had some bad moments, but they were just moments. I know that the "moments" pass quickly and all I have to do is "nothing" until they are over.

Hey Lavender
I am on day 12... and so far I've been doing fine; like you said no SERIOUS cravings that I couldn't handle with something to keep my hands busy (I've also got 2 boys ages 6 and 2 to keep me busy).

BUT today, I am struggling.
I wanted a smoke sooooo freakin bad this morning. I wanted my vice back; that one thing I could do to fill up my time, chase away the boredom and the gloom of Monday morning. I didn't do it though (thank you Lord). Instead, I struggled through my morning with a huge frown on my face and told myself that this was a GOOD thing. Man! It's tough!
I did a morning workout (still, with a frown). Put my patch on, and came here... feeling a little better.

But I told my husband to stay out of my way... You know, for his own good lol

Take care, and thanks for being here - just do whatever it takes girl... You WILL get through it.
Meg
