| Curious about the relapse/chain crowd..
Recently, I went on a trip and have picked up some bad smoking habits while partying. I started to smoke a few cigs a day since for a month. Little did I know, I was starting to smoke. I always say, "it's the last one", but that's never the case. I've never been like this before and recently find myself really lethargic, and fatigued.. |

Hi Froglet, With each cigarette you smoke the habit will become stronger and the fatigue and lethargy you are feeling is a normal reaction to the poison you are putting in your body.

I remember how I felt when I smoked, I didn't feel good, I didn't look good, and I certainly didn't smell good. I read a book by Allen Carr that helped me quit, but basically it was up to me to do it. I was at the laundry mat and right before I left there I smoked my last cigarette and said that it'd be my last one forever. I went home and I tossed everything that was smoking related, Ash Trays (even in my car at the time), lighters, etc. Of course I had the urge to go back smoking early on and I found the best way to fight off those urges was to drink a glass of water. Here I sit with over two years of not smoking, so it is possible to drop it and walk away. Just remember to drink a lot of water early on. |
