Anyone else chain-smoke only when drinking?

I don't smoke at all in the morning or during the day, but when I get off of work and start drinking, I will chain-smoke a pack and a half a night. I'm thinking that as soon as I kick drinking, the smoking thing will take care of itself.

I could not drink without smoking, but I can and do smoke with out drinking. my first week off it was tons of coffee and cigs....

I smoked when I drank - unfortunately that was constantly by the end.
I was able to quit the both at once - others have not been so lucky tho.

I was just the opposite I smoked during the day and then drank at night....until I started drinking all day. I had a rule I could not smoke in my house as I didn't want to expose my kids to the second hand smoke, instead I exposed them to watching me pour poison down my throat (dumb). I couldn't quit both at the same time it was to much for me. I quit smoking about 9 months after I quit drinking. I've just passed a year sober and a little over 3 months since I quit smoking and I won't kid you I feel better physically than I have in a LONG time. It's not easy but it is so worth it.

my roomate only smokes when drinking. has been doing that for years and never smokes during the day... weird. but possible i guess.

^ friday thru sunday whenever i used to go out and drink id smoke alot more then usual ..during the week ..its been about 2 months since ive had a drag and i feel good .ive been kickin myself for even have started it..its such a horrible habit to get into
